GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SCOPE AND DEFINITIONS
1. These terms and conditions apply to all contracts, which are concluded between the hotel and the tour company/travel agent about hotel services for individual and/or group.
2. Hotel services are all services such as hotel room, meal arrangements and other offers agreed upon between the tour operator/travel agent and the hotel and to be performed by the hotel.
3. The customers of the travel agency, who booked the hotel services, shall forthwith be referred to as “clients”.
4. A group consists of at least 10 people who are organized uniformly to a common purpose and usually travel on the same days to arrive and depart.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE TRAVEL AGENT OR TOUR OPERATOR
1. The agent or tour operator earns 10% of the total BED ONLY charge. Four groups, this can be negotiated.
2. The tour operator/travel agent is obliged to check availability before any reservation is made.
3. Upon confirmation of availability, the tour operator/travel agent must notify the hotel of its number of reservations as early as possible, providing all the necessary information about each reservation.
HOSTING CONDITIONS
1. Each guest must complete a check–in form upon arrival in full.
2. Our Check–in time is as from 12noon. Our check–out time is by 10am.
3. Guests are fully liable for any damage caused to property during their stay.
4. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the stay of any guest when the guest is deemed to be of threat to other guests, staff members or property.
PAYMENT COLLECTIONS AND PAYMENT OF COMMISSIONS
1. The tour operator/agent may collect payments from clients.
2. Once a payment (deposit or full payment) has been collected by a tour operator/travel agent, it is their duty to inform the hotel immediately in order to confirm the booking.
3. Bookings can only be confirmed once a deposit of at–least 50% of total quoted amount has been paid.
4. The deposit/full payment must be remitted to the hotel within 24 hours of payment being received, less payable commissions.
5. Payment can be made directly at the hotel, commission of which is payable 24 hours after check–out of clients.
6. Remittances to either party will be made in the same currency used by the client.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1. The deposit paid on a booking is strictly non–refundable. A client may however request a date change depending on availability on the new dates requested. **Change of dates may be subject to increase in rates charged.**
